SpaWhite is unique because the pliable tray/lens/mouthpiece combination used to hold the whitening gel is custom fit to your tooth structure. The virtual custom fit assures an even application of gel, as tooth whitening that most non-professional techniques do not deliver. Limited-spectrum light, supplied by an external source, is passed through the mouthpiece and is then channeled through the optically clear material to deliver both light and slight warmth to the foam pads in contact with your teeth. Because the whitening gel is impregnated in foam, the foam acts as a receptacle for stains. When the foam is removed, the staining material has been suspended in the gel and trapped in the foam.
